Answer: A 6-day desert adventure involves a balance of authentic camping and comfortable hotel stays. You will spend some nights camping under the stars in the White Desert with our fully equipped Bedouin setups (tents, thick mattresses, and sleeping bags). On the other nights, you will stay in traditional, comfortable eco-lodges within the oases to rest and enjoy a hot shower.
Answer: While staying at the oasis eco-lodges, you will have standard private bathrooms with hot water. However, during the camping nights in the open desert, facilities are basic. We set up private, designated areas for toilet needs and provide plenty of water for basic washing, but there are no formal showers in the camping zones.
Answer: For the highway journeys between Cairo and the oases, we use comfortable, modern, air-conditioned vehicles. Once we arrive at the desert and begin our off-road exploration through the dunes and national parks, we switch to robust, fully equipped 4×4 Toyota Land Cruisers driven by our expert local Bedouin guides.
Answer: Yes, all your meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) are fully covered once the desert portion of the tour begins. Our team prepares fresh, hot, and delicious traditional meals right at the campsite. We also provide an unlimited supply of bottled drinking water to ensure you stay safely hydrated throughout the trip.
Answer: You will have standard cell phone coverage and access to Wi-Fi while staying at the hotels in the main oasis towns (like Bahariya). However, once we drive deep into the protected areas like the White Desert National Park, you will lose all cellular signal. It is the perfect opportunity to completely disconnect and enjoy nature.
