The journey between Aswan and Luxor is covered seamlessly by the cruise boat itself. From Luxor to Hurghada, we provide a private, modern air-conditioned vehicle (approx. 4-hour scenic drive). Finally, your return from Hurghada to Cairo is via a comfortable domestic flight, ensuring you don’t waste precious vacation time on long highway roads.

On Day 3, while the cruise is docked in Aswan, we offer an early morning excursion to Abu Simbel by a private A/C vehicle (or an optional short domestic flight). You will be accompanied by our expert Egyptologist guide who will unveil the magnificent history of King Ramses II and Queen Nefertari before you return to the cruise just in time for lunch as the boat begins sailing toward Kom Ombo.

 

Tipping is a deeply ingrained part of Egyptian tourism culture and serves as an expression of gratitude for good service. For a seamless experience, we recommend a general tipping budget:

  • Nile Cruise Crew: Around $5 to $10 USD per cabin, per night (usually placed in an envelope at reception at the end of the cruise to be shared among all staff).

  • Tour Guides: Around $15 to $20 USD per day for your private Egyptologist.

  • Drivers: Around $5 to $10 USD per day. Please note that tipping is entirely voluntary and should always reflect your satisfaction with the service provided.
